What does Ashley love most?  Makeup, of course!  Ashley is an Atlanta based makeup artist- member of IATSE Local 798- specializing in various mediums including but not limited to: Film, TV, Commercial, Corporate, Beauty, Lifestyle, Live Events, and Print.  A native of Memphis, TN and an alumna of Tennessee State University in Nashville, she has always been enthusiastic about the world of beauty.  Makeup became her creative outlet while she was earning her master of science degree at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville.  It wasn't until after she graduated that she started to take on private clients in her spare time.  While working as an Environmental Scientist in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ashley continued honing her skill as an artist and building her portfolio.  One summer, she was offered her first position as an assistant makeup artist for the feature film Gibby (2015).  It was at that moment she took a leap of faith and dived into freelancing full-time, leaving environmental science behind!  She hasn't looked back since and is happy to have turned her hobby into a career! Ashley- a 2023 Makeup Artists & Hairstylists Guild Awards nominee- has since worked projects for Marvel/Disney Studios, Nickelodeon, STARZ, and MGM to name a few.  She is a passionate, professional, dependable, go-getter ready to embark on her next project!
